Faswalo OSTRAP Review

After starting into VR with PlayStation VR, I was excited to add in the Oculus Quest 2. Unfortunately, the strap that comes with the Quest 2 is not the best in terms of comfort. Especially when compared to the extremely comfortable PSVR. I made it my goal to find a strap that would up the comfort of the Quest, bringing it in line with the comfort of what I was used to with the PlayStation VR.

Scroll for an in depth review, but in short, I love my Faswalo strap so far. It is comfortable, secure, and highly adjustable. This makes it so that you can customize the most comfortable fit/positioning for you and your play style. It greatly improves comfort, stability, and visibility. It also reduces lens fogging. I have only had it for a few days, but I will update on durability. As long as it is durable, I highly recommend this strap. In Depth Review

I knew that I wanted an upgrade on the strap but struggled to make a decision on which strap to go with. There are many options, including Oculus’ own elite strap.

After doing some research, and finding that the elite strap has quite the reputation for breaking, I decided to find another option. Knowing how comfortable the PSVR is, I opted to limit my search to other ‘halo’ style head straps.

There are many options out there, but I was looking for what most closely resembled PSVR’s set up. While searching, I came across the Faswalo OSTRAP.

Of the straps I looked at, the Faswalo came closest to the PSVR style that I was looking for.

Upon receiving the strap, it was very easy to attach to the quest. It is highly adjustable, which is great for finding that sweet spot for each person.

With the original strap, I found myself constantly adjusting it and still not being comfortable in it. The Faswalo strap completely eliminates that problem. The tightness can be adjusted with the knob on the back, but you can also adjust the angle of the headset, and the length of the top strap for optimum support and comfort.

Not only is the Faswalo strap amazingly more comfortable, but it also helps keep your eyes lined up in the “sweet spot” vision wise. In addition, it helps the fogging that typically comes with active games because it doesn’t force the headset so tightly onto your face.

All around, I am very happy with the Faswalo strap. It seems like it will hold up well, but I will update in terms of durability as I use it more. Especially if you still have the original Quest 2 strap, I highly recommend an upgrade to the Faswalo strap if you are looking for a more comfortable option!

As with most products, there are a couple cons. But in my mind the pros completely outweigh these 2 small cons. One, the shipping took about 2 weeks to arrive. Two, the original case will no longer with the Quest 2 with the added strap. I am in the process of finding a good case to recommend, though!
